Short Story:  a story with a fully developed theme but significantly shorter and less elaborate than a novel.

Though most of my blog consists of Flash Fiction, I enjoy Short Stories the most. They allow me to focus a lot more on the characters and even let me “show” more, rather than just tell something quick. Personally, I even prefer reading Short Stories over Flash Fiction. But as a writer, coming up with them daily would be near impossible unless I did this for a living…and I don’t, sadly. Consequently, there are a lot less Short Stories on this blog, but every so often, I will put together something as a “periodical” and turn it into a Short Story (a good example of this being “The Page Never Forgets Though the Mind Might Fail”).

On the right, you should be able to see a good list of all the Short Stories available. Since they are a little bit longer than the Flash Fiction, I recommend grabbing a coffee and enjoying the read! Cheers!
