Classically speaking, the 14 cards in the suit of cups has two very specific meanings. The cups, back in the day, symbolized the clergy and religion, which gives these cards a spiritual emphasis. Additionally, its element, water, represents emotions and love. Now, if you know me, this should be a pretty touch suit for me to write on because, as a dude, I try never to hit those topics very often. However, I actually see this suit in a personal way.
Now, I do tend to say that I am in no way “spiritual.” I am very logical and tend to believe only on what I have proof for. Nevertheless, there’s part of me who actually wants to believe. Which is why I am using these cards to create stories in the first place even though I don’t believe they hold magical powers or anything.
So, it should make sense that I find these sort of personal. Coincidentally, these cards are supposed to be representative of the astrological sign of Cancer…which I am, and which I tend to fight.
But anyway, these stories, the ones to the right, all fall under the Suit of Cups, or how I like to call it, “Water, the Suit of the Soul.”
